When searching for missing persons, almost any information that can
be provided can be helpful. However,
most people oven overlook important information.Along with a name and
last known address, below are some questions which can help you or others
locate a missing person.
1) Where was the person born, (state and town and/or county),
marriages, divorces, hospitalization,
(dates and same location info for all).
2) What was state, county, and town of residence at your last contact?
3) Does the person you are searching for have close friends or relatives still living and where do they reside, state, county and town?
4) If a spouse does he or she have a former husband/wife? Supply the name, place of residence (state, county, city, last known address)
5) Does he or she have other adult children with whom contact is maintained?
If so, do you know the state,
county, and town where they would be living?
7) Was he ever in the military (location and dates where he was stationed,
rank, discharge) and/or does he/she receive a
retirement or medical pension of any kind?
8) Any information on where he has lived to your knowledge (state,
county, and town) would be helpful as a point
of reference.
9) Do you know the person's church affiliation.
10) Name any friend's names you can remember and their location as mentioned above.
11) Hobbies, places frequented,
12) Car license plate no., registration, voter registration, political
party preference, phone numbers, social security no. are all ways
of tracing the individual you are trying to locate.
13) Last known place of work, type of employment previously held by this person.
14)Physical description and ethnic information which might help in the search should not be omitted.
15) Court or criminal records (dates, where, county and state and all
known information is also important in tracing a missing
person.
The above are just some questions you may be asked or that you need
to answer yourself in searching for a missing person.
